My son came to me the other day to say that he and his mate have started learning guitar at school and he would really like to do more guitar lessons. He loves the electric guitar, and would like one of his own so he can play guitar himself.
The two of us embarked on a shopping spree to find the guitar he wanted (So many to choose from…) and then tried to find a decent instructor. If like me you are quite a young and funky Mum (or at least I like to think I am) and have embarked on this exercise with your children you will learn that finding a young and funky music teacher to provide guitar lessons is actually quite hard.
Knowing my child well, and understanding that concentration is not always easy I did not want to waste money on the wrong guitar instructor or guitar tutor so the two of us searched the net to see what alternative guitar teaching options there were to guitar lessons via old and stuffy ways (sorry Music Teachers!)
